Dahi Ke Aloo Or Potato Soup Recipe And Yogurt

 Dahi is a Hindi and half yogurt and potatoes Aloo. When the potatoes cooked in a spicy creamy yoghurt and spices are some simple Dahi Aloo Ke. I call it the potato soup and yogurt. My mom is hot and fresh, crisp roti plate, serve them with some fresh baguette. Whatever you call them or how to serve them whenever they are still the classic comfort food dish easy quick fix.




Ingredients

4 medium potatoes (boiled, peeled)

2 cups yogurt (room temperature)

2 cups water

Tablespoons olive oil 1 (additional drizzle at the top of the soup)

1 teaspoon cumin seeds

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (a little more if you want to garnish)

1 teaspoon turmeric powder

1 ½ tsp coriander powder

Salt to taste

Simply follow the steps on how to do it perfectly

Mash the potatoes. Mash thoroughly and crush the other pieces of bite size. Busy.

In a bowl mix yogurt and water leaving no lumps.

Heat oil in medium saucepan. Add the cumin seeds. Once you start popping, add turmeric and coriander powder. Mix spices and add the potatoes immediately. Mix spices well with the potatoes.

Add the yogurt diluted. Mix well with potatoes. Wait until the soup begins to boil and add good action and salt.

You can serve hot. I love my warm with a little extra virgin olive oil and sprinkled some red pepper flakes sprinkled on top.
